Long Lake Fishing Report - June 8, 2004
Walleyes good to excellent. Jigs tipped with leaches. 10 - 25'. A lot of fish being taken on stick baits. 12-18' down over 50' of water. Trolling 1.4 to 1.8 mph.

Traverse City Fishing Report - June 8, 2004
West Bay - small mouth starting very good. On the beds from 5 - 15' water. Tubes and spinner baits. Just before dark on all sharp breaks. Good lake trout from 40 - 100', trolling or vertical jigging.
East Bay - Lots of lake trout, however many are small. Cowbells and spin 'n glows. 40 - 65' best. Early. Scattered perch and white fish still being taken at Deep Water Point.

Manistee Fishing Report, June 8, 2004
Very early run of Spring Kings from Manistee to Frankfort. Surface down to 65'. Silver Streaks and Fishlander spoons - regular size best. Dipsy Divers working really good in Frankfort. 52 degrees on the surface.
